About Aachen
Sightseeing
Aachen is the westernmost city of Germany, located along its borders with Belgium and the Netherlands, 65 km west of Cologne. Aachen was a favoured residence of Charlemagne, and the place of coronation of the medieval Kings of Germany. The Tripoint of Germany, Belgium and the Netherland is a favorite sightseeing location in Aachen. Since Roman times, the hot springs at Aachen have been channeled into baths. Contemporarily, Carolus Thermen located in the middle of the city offers this bath experience.
