Dr. Marian Choy was the MC for the banquet and she welcomed everyone for attending the banquet. It was followed by a series of paper award presentations.

	Dr. Rynson Lau announced that the best student paper award went to Dan Phung. Prof. Chuang Lin was invited to present the award to Dan Phung. Then Dr. Qing Li presented a souvenir to Prof. Lin.

	Dr. Rynson Lau announced that the best paper award went to Anders Morch. Prof. Jiming Liu was invited to present the award to Anders Morch. Then Dr. Qing Li presented a souvenir to Prof. Liu.

	Dr. Reggie Kwan announced that the best application paper award went to Eva Tsang. Mr. Kenneth Lau and Dr. Joseph Fong presented the award to Eva Tsang.
